Sleep disorders

Snoring, is it normal?
From the research we discover that about 1/3 of the adults snore when they sleep, and snoring is the sound that the air flow is blocked in the airway. The research published in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine (AJRCCM November 15, 2004) indicate that about 30% of the middle-aged males in Korea snore and have sleep-related breathing disorders.

Long-term snore does not only influence the sleep, the daytime concentration and working performance of the spouse. In medical literatures, severe snoring is the alarm of the Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome (OSAS). And Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome (OSAS) is contributed to the development of heart diseases, hypertension, strokes and adult type 2 diabetes, therefore, its significance should not be over looked.
